Wanted some local bbq and found this place off the highway. (Went through the drive thru so I could get back on the road.) The food was awesome! I got the bbq plate, it came with two sides (got mac n cheese and coleslaw) and a breadstick that was the best thing I ever ate lol I think it must be deep fried or something?! If I am near here ever again, I'm stopping for sure.

This place is adorable. Like stepping back into the "Fifties". The burgers and fries were delicious. It was lovely to be able to sit outside in their nice patio area.
Wow, I can not believe I didn't write a review for this place. I ate here multiple times with family in June in North Carolina. I also don't understand why it has an overall 2 1/2 rating on yelp. When I first came here, we talked to a lady. I could be wrong that I had worked here for 30 years I could be wrong about this, but I was like, wow, that is a long time. So I can't tell you about the food, but I had ice cream all three times, which was fantastic. I am coming back in December and can't wait to return here.
This is mine & my husbands favorite place to eat in mount airy. We pinch pennies and this isn’t the fanciest place in the city, but the food is always sooo good and affordable. I also love the atmosphere. Classic diner vibes. Some of my favorite memories of us are from sitting on the porch and it raining while we eat. The chicken tenders are the best I’ve had in mount airy. Crispy, juicy, surprisingly big and cheap! My husband always enjoys the burgers too. Friendly staff as well.
